Chosen Heritage Funeral Plans – just a badge now.
Chosen Heritage Plans were launched in the UK in 1985. They are now managed by Dignity, so please continue on their page. According to them, over 100,000 people invested in their prepaid plans from 1985 to 1995. A top seller, so they are quite common, making the Chosen Heritage Plan the most popular plan at the time.
Over the years the name has changed from Chosen Heritage Limited in the 1980s and into the 1990s, to Funeral Plans Limited in the late 1990s. From 1991 the company became Dignity Pre Arrangement Limited.
Chosen Heritage Funeral Plans
The subscriptions for Chosen Heritage Plans were invested in the National Funeral Trust. This was an independent Trust Fund started in 1986. The money in the Trust is still carefully invested to ensure there are enough funds to cover all plan holders’ funerals in the future. The Trust is audited annually and a copy of the Trust Fund Report is available free of charge on request – click the link to see the full Trust Fund Report of the fund in which they invest.
Chosen Heritage Plans Review: Our Verdict.
To date well over half a million people taken out prepaid funeral plans with Dignity. Dignity / Chosen Heritage plans have a network of over 1,200 undertakers throughout the United Kingdom, but that is far from complete national coverage, which rather restricts us from recommending them as best buys in some cases.
If you are keen to organise a prepaid plan, we can help you choose the best one for your specific requirements (some of which you may not even have considered!) so why not give The Prepaid Funeral Review team a call on 01323 740844. If you are not in a rush, just download our prepaid funeral questionnaire and return it when you are ready to go ahead.
